4/29/24

A motor vehicle burglary was reported on the 100 Block of Victor St.  Between 2:00 am and 6:00 am, suspects attempted to steal the vehicle, but were unable to.  This matter is under investigation.

 

4/30/24

A vehicle reported stolen from Newark in the early morning hours was recovered on the 100 Block of William St.  The detective bureau is working with Newark PD in identifying all of the suspects who were captured on resident and business cameras.

 

5/2/24

A burglary to a residence was reported in the 2200 Block of Morse Ave.  Unknown suspects entered the house and removed numerous items.  This is under investigation.

 

5/2/24

A resident of South Plainfield had his debit card stolen during a diversion scam at the Bank of America.  The detective bureau is working with other agencies in identifying the suspects.

 

5/3/24

Mark Hayden, 22-year-old male residing at 820 O’Donnell Ave, was arrested and charged with multiple weapon offenses for shooting BB guns out of a window in the rear of his residence.  Hayden was issued a criminal summons and was released.

 

5/5/24

A resident of Johnson St. reported that two individuals stole the catalytic converter on his vehicle.  Between 4:30 am and 4:40 am, the resident heard a noise outside and observed two males get into a white suv and drive away.  This matter is under investigation.

 

5/6/24

Joel A. Santos, 33-year-old male who resides at 40 Reading Rd Apt. L, Edison, was arrested for an outstanding traffic warrant by P/O Ceceri as the result of a motor vehicle stop.  Santos was given a new court date by Franklin Municipal Court and was released.
