A resident of Westfield Rd. reported an attempted burglary to their residence.  The victim stated they noticed damage to their door frame however it does not appear as though the actor(s) made entry.  The incident is under investigation.

A resident of Wheatly Court reported a theft.  The victim stated a package which was left for the mail carrier was stolen.  The victim stated the contents were valued at $230.

Wilson Cordova-Marroquin, 33 of Plainfield NJ, was arrested by Off. Ceceri for DUI during an investigation for a vehicle stopped in the intersection.  Cordova-Marroquin was transported to HQ, processed and released to a responsible party with a future court date.

A resident of Westfield Rd. reported a theft of car parts.  The victim stated they noticed the vehicle sounded different and noticed the catalytic converter missing.  The incident is being investigated.

A resident of Forest Rd. reported a theft of cleaning products.  The victim stated an individual arrived to pick up the items but later found out the individual was posing as an employee of the company.  The value of the stolen goods was valued at of $6,800.

A resident of Graymill Dr. reported a fraud. The victim stated an unknown individual was able to access their bank account, order checks and proceeded to write a fraudulent check in the amount of $15,000, however the check did not clear and was not cashed.

A business on Front St. reported a fraud.  The owner stated an individual posing as an employee of the business had customers submit payments in excess of $8,900 to an account at a different financial institution. in

A resident of East Second St. reported a theft.  The victim stated their garbage can was stolen which was captured on video.  The garbage can was later recovered in front of a business of East Second St.
